My fave games are usually those that let me explore freely. I enjoy immersing myself in the stories of my favourite characters and learning as much as I can about the more complex facets of their games, even when they aren't physically present.

Games that experiment with novel and distinctive components tend to appeal to me. My preferred game mechanics are usually those that encourage exploration and the discovery of hidden gems.

Though not necessarily in a concrete sense, my best games usually include investigation and the finding of fascinating facts.
